Conway is an idiot. Medicaid is for the elderly, disabled, children, and the working poor. The working poor who get Medicaid are getting it because they do not get insurance from their low wage jobs. If they had insurance, they wouldn’t need Medicaid. If they lose their Medicaid, they will have no medical coverage of any kind at all. Click HERE for some useful information about the subject.

Journalist Peter Schweizer said this on the Glenn Beck Show. Glenn Beck is known for touting unfounded conspiracies. Schweizer was referencing Newsom’s October 2023 visit to China, claiming Newsom would not call out China on fentanyl. What is he talking about? That’s one of the things they DID talk about.

As for ChinaSF, that refers to Newsom’s 2008 visit to China. Nothing nefarious about that. It’s common for presidents and state governors to take measures to attract foreign investors to come here. It boosts our economy and creates jobs. Trump has done it himself.

I spent too much time trying to find out something about the organized crime thing. That’s a totally unsubstantiated claim.

What kind of religious pseudo-science nonsense is this?

  • Polar Circles: Their latitude fluctuates due to tidal forces resulting from the orbit of the Moon. They are certainly not “fixed” at 66.6°
  • Gravity: Newton didn’t “invent” gravity, he described and published it in 1687.
  • Curvature of a Sphere: That part about 2/3 of a sphere is word salad someone pulled out of the air. The curvature of the earth is measured by a 7.98 inch drop every mile. That’s a linear slope, not a curve, and 0.666 doesn’t enter the equation.
  • Force of Gravity: The force of gravity is about 9.8 newtons per kg.
  • Earth’s Tilt: The Earth’s axial tilt is about 23.5 degrees. If it was tilting at 66.6°, the weather patterns would become so extreme that most life, including us, would go extinct.
  • If Newton was the anti-christ or the “beast”, he missed the boat because he’s dead and gone without the entire world taking his mark and following him into Hell.

MAGAs are insisting this is proof that there is a connection between Walz and Boelter. Don’t be ridiculous. Every state appoints hundreds of unpaid volunteers to boards and commissions every year. It’s extremely unlikely that Walz even knew that Boelter existed. Boelter was just a nameless volunteer. Boelter is also a MAGA. Click Here to see the entire letter

Elon retweeted this. The majority of the perpetrators in question weren’t on the left. Some were even MAGAs.

I’ve seen all sorts of similar posts on Facebook by MAGAs who are making assumptions. MAGAs infer that white Americans were rushing there to work. MAGAs think that illegals are hired because the employer can get them to work for slave wages. Those people filling out applications were Hispanics! Some of them said they had been waiting for their chance to work there, which is understandable. The LOWEST salary paid by that company is over $50K per year!

In many areas where ICE raids have been ongoing, even people here legally with work permits are being detained. But in this particular case, only those who could not show documentation were taken. The few workers which weren’t taken had their documents with them. I’m assuming the applicants who rushed there to apply for work are legal, knowing they would be safe.

FYI, the employees working there had been approved through E-Verify, a government website that confirms the legality of foreign workers. The Trump admin had claimed that those workers had cheated the system, and were actually illegal. However, a thorough investigation afterwards found ONE(!) employee had cheated and was working illegally. All the others were legal, but got deported anyway. I never saw a public retraction, but of course the Trump admin NEVER admits that they made a mistake.

This is true. Since his arrest, he has lost his Senate seat and his wife has filed for divorce. His life is over.

Trump is forgetful and confused about much.

A MAGA with regrets.

He often accuses others of things he ends up doing.

Just his usual unhinged disconnect from reality. Click Here to see the entire (long) post.

Obama deported so many illegals, he was nicknamed Deporter-in-Chief. Being deeply enmeshed in the farming community at the time, I was watching the situation very closely.

So many undocumented workers got deported from farms, that millions of acres of fruits and vegetables rotted. Farmers offered high wages, trying to entice American workers, but the few who responded seldom lasted even a week. A friend of mine who was growing vegetables for a canning factory was unable to get even one American to come work, despite running want-ads, and registering with the unemployment office, with the offer of high wages. The country’s shortfall in produce was made up by importing more produce from Mexico (how ironic), and we’re still importing an awful lot of our produce from Mexico.

Meat packing plants were also affected. They lost so many workers, they were running at partial capacity. They offered outrageously high wages, but the few Americans who gave it a go almost all quit within a few days. Many of the meat packing plants had no choice but to move operations to Mexico, where they could get plenty of workers.

Trump said: “I told him to, essentially, ‘Get his ass in gear,’ and stop the riots, which were out of control“. Newsom said that he tried to get Trump to talk about the situation in LA, but that Trump rambled on about all kinds of irrelevant subjects and wouldn’t talk about LA. I believe Newsom 100%, because that’s exactly what Trump does in interviews and pressers. Nobody can get him to talk about the subject in question. He blathers on about all kinds of inconsequential nonsense, just whatever pops in his head. My mother did precisely the same thing as she descended into dementia. It became impossible to have a conversation with her.

Social media has twisted the facts. Parents complained to Social Services about the pre-school in question (I don’t know what they complained about). The staff at the preschool were supposed to wear masks, but they weren’t. The staff refused to allow Social Services to inspect the premises, which I find suspicious. Social Services (not armed enforcers), ended up forcing the pre-school to close. Local news media reported it was closed due to lack of masks, playing down the other problems that Social Services found with the school. The story blew up from there.

On September 15, 2020, at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Trump said: Look, we have laws. We have to go by the laws. We can’t move in the National Guard. I can call insurrection but there’s no reason to ever do that, even in a Portland case. We can’t call in the National Guard unless we’re requested by a governor. He was speaking correctly then. By law, the Federal Government cannot override a governor and activate the National Guard in that state without the governor’s permission. The president can ask a governor if he can deploy the guard. This second time around, Trump has forgotten or doesn’t care what the law says.

Thomas Fugate graduated from college last year. His work experience: He fancied starting a landscape business in 2020, but after 2 months of mowing yards for neighbors, he dropped that idea. He briefly interned at the Heritage Foundation. He worked at an HEB grocery store. You MAGAs can now stop dissing AOC for once working as a bartender.

He did so ONLY AFTER the California governor and the LA mayor asked him to. In other words, Bush was following the law.
