MAGAs Outed Themselves on Easter

By now, you’ve seen the above screenshot multiple times on social media.

I see a lot of memes with fake Trump posts. I always go to Truth Social to see if he really said it. If he didn’t, I make sure to inform people that it’s a fake meme. I saw this meme, and thought for sure it was fake, but I went and looked and he really did post that! Go to Truth Social and see it for yourself! (Sorry for the language, but he said it, not me).

I got on Facebook that morning and saw the screenshot posted by multiple people, on their own timelines, and in groups. As the meme circulated, I made some fascinating observations.

At first, MAGAs were adamant that Trump did not post that. People kept telling them, yes he did. It’s on his Truth Social. But they wouldn’t go look. They just kept yelling that it was fake. The left was just lying!

Consider that response. The fact that MAGAs vehemently denied that Trump could have posted that, clearly reveals that they recognized it for the contemptible message that it was.

It wasn’t long before it became common knowledge that Trump DID post it! A remarkable thing happened. MAGAs did a 180° flip and began finding ways to justify that statement. By the end of the day, MAGAs had embraced it as some kind of brilliant pronouncement.

Can we say, “Cognitive Dissonance”?

If any other president had posted this, or any politician on the left, MAGA heads would explode. But Trump gets a free pass no matter what he says or does. The hypocrisy is mind-boggling.
